ITPCC Zagreb, January 19, 2015, Business presentation and dinner

Arabco Projects company and its UAE partners 5Brothers Group and SalesMENA organized a business presentation and dinner to introduce their work and the ITPCC program to other interested companies.

Arabco Projects is the member of the consortium consisting of two more companies, 5Brothers Group (Abu Dhabi, the UAE) and SalesMENA (Dubai, the UAE). The goal of the consortium is to become a leading factor in organizing, connecting and finalizing business tasks between companies from Croatia and Southeastern Europe and companies operating on markets of GCC and MENA. We want to enable companies to launch their products on the new market in a short period of time with local partners which reduces risks and costs. Furthermore, we want to boost exports through business forums and meetings, attract foreign investments and promote halal, sports and health tourism.

We have organized a business dinner on January 19, 2015 at the Hotel Esplanade in Zagreb. Petar Galović, founder and owner of Arabco Projects, greeted 115 representatives from Croatian companies at the beginning of the event. One of the main objectives was to present the business options between the UAE and Croatia and the representatives of our UAE partners thoroughly explained all the possibilities. Mr. Ahmed Al Hemeiri discussed the economy of the UAE and the exporting opportunities and Mr. Alaa Ismail presented the case study and best examples of exporting goods and services to the countries of Middle East and North Africa.

Besides the economy and exporting opportunities, there was a discussion about the potentials of the development of halal industry in Croatia. Mr. Aldin Dugonjić, CEO of the Center for Halal Quality Certification, gave an interesting insight into the meaning of halal quality and labelling. He stressed that halal labellings are applied to food, cosmetics, drugs, products for general use, cafes, restaurantsand hotels if they are certified by the Center for Halal Quality Certification.

Some of the participants shared their experience from the first international trade meeting between Croatian and the UAE companies which was held in October 2014 in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. One of them was Mr. Zvonko Hladnik, CEO of the Croatian company Milla Cosmetics who talked about his positive experience.

After the final presentation, the conversation with the UAE partners continued on the gala dinner. For more details and pictures check the gallery and the clip on YouTube http://youtu.be/kmlrg2SshXQ.
